Phillips Education has appointed Ninad Pathak as Assistant Vice President – Marketing and Communications. In his new role, Pathak has been responsible for driving the company’s brand and communication strategy, strengthening its digital presence, and leading integrated marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement.
Pathak has shared the update on LinkedIn, expressing enthusiasm about the new chapter.
Prior to joining Phillips Education in November 2025, Pathak has held a series of leadership roles in marketing and communications across major organisations. He has served as Head of Digital Marketing at Cello from November 2024 to November 2025. Before that, he was Assistant Vice President – Marketing at IndiaFirst Life between May 2023 and November 2024, managing integrated media, brand content, and partner branding initiatives.
Earlier, Pathak spent over five years at Interpublic Group (IPG), first as Media Group Head from April 2018 to March 2021, and later as Associate Director – Strategy from April 2021 to April 2023. Before IPG, he worked at Madison World from May 2016 to April 2018 as Manager – Marketing Strategy and Media Planning, where he specialised in media strategy development and consumer insight analysis.
He began his professional journey at Nielsen in September 2012 as Senior Research Analyst – FMCG and Pharmaceuticals, working on brand research and new product development projects for global markets, including Unilever. His early experience also includes a one-year stint as a System Engineering Intern at Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers from June 2008 to May 2009.
