Pradeep Dwivedi Becomes Global Treasurer Of The International Advertising Association

Pradeep Dwivedi, Group CEO of Eros Media World Group, has been elected as the Global Treasurer of the International Advertising Association (IAA) for the 2025–2028 term, following the IAA Global Board meetings held in Milan, Italy.

In his new capacity, Dwivedi has been responsible for ensuring the financial health, transparency, and sustainability of the association, aligning its global resources to advance IAA’s mission of promoting responsible and ethical marketing communication practices worldwide.

Dwivedi has shared this update on his LinkedIn, expressing gratitude and enthusiasm about joining IAA’s new global leadership team. The newly elected leadership includes Fredrik Borestrom, Director – LinkedIn International, as Chairman and World President; Tom Stein, Chairman and Chief Brand Officer at Stein IAS, as Senior Vice President; Jeffrey Greenbaum, Managing Partner at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein and Selz, as Secretary; and Dagmara Szulce, Managing Director at IAA Global.

He has also served as Area Director and Vice President of the APAC Region on the IAA Global Board since 2012 and continues to be part of the IAA India Managing Committee. Dwivedi, who currently leads Eros Media World PLC as Group CEO, has been managing business growth and operations across global markets such as the US, India, the Middle East, and Asia. He oversees strategic representations in various forums and regulatory bodies, and under his leadership, Eros Media World has expanded its global entertainment footprint through its platforms like Eros Now, one of India’s largest OTT libraries with over 12,000 titles.

Prior to this, Dwivedi has held several senior leadership roles across prominent organizations. From October 2016 to December 2018, he served as Group Chief Executive Officer at Sakal Media Group, leading the company’s print, television, and digital transformation efforts. Between September 2012 and September 2016, he was Chief Corporate Sales and Marketing Officer at Dainik Bhaskar Group, responsible for driving national growth, trade marketing, and client relations.

Before his tenure in print media, Dwivedi spent over eight years with Tata Tele Business Services (July 2004 – September 2012), where he held multiple leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President (Enterprise Business), Senior Vice President (Marketing and Product Management), Vice President and Corporate Head (Customer Service Delivery), and General Manager (Customer Care). Earlier in his career, he worked with American Express as Regional Head of Credit and Collections from December 2003 to July 2004, managing financial operations and risk processes.

Beyond his corporate roles, Dwivedi has been actively contributing to the advertising and media ecosystem. He has been Co-Chairperson of the AdClub India Effie Awards since September 2018, recognizing marketing effectiveness across India. He also serves as a Member of the CII National Committee on Media and Entertainment, and of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Media and Entertainment Committee. Previously, he chaired the Entertainment, Media and Sports Committee at the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry between July 2020 and August 2021, and is also an Angel Investor with Leadstart (One Point Six Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) since 2019, supporting innovation in publishing and storytelling.

With a career spanning over two decades across media, telecom, advertising, and entertainment, Dwivedi has been consistently engaged in industry-building initiatives and leadership roles that bridge creative vision with business strategy. His appointment as IAA Global Treasurer marks another milestone in his extensive journey of advancing the global marketing and communication landscape.
