Michelin-starred Chef Vikas Khanna has collaborated with Quaker to launch the 10-Day Quaker Oats Challenge, highlighting how oats can be used in a variety of Indian and global dishes.
Known for his long-standing association with the brand, Khanna has created a series of recipes that go beyond breakfast, including Pulav, Upma, Kheer, Chilla, Parfaits, Muffins, and Cookies.
The initiative encourages consumers to view oats as more than just a morning meal. The recipes aim to demonstrate how oats can be included in daily meals without compromising on taste or nutrition.
The campaign comes at a time when Indian consumers are increasingly looking for healthier food choices. Around 63% of them are seeking better snack options, and nearly half now check ingredient labels before buying. From multigrain snacks to low-sugar alternatives, the demand for balanced eating is growing.
Quaker oats are positioned as a whole grain rich in fibre and protein, which help support energy levels, aid digestion, and contribute to weight management. The brand, backed by over a century of nutrition expertise, has said this challenge is part of its broader push to make nutritious food more accessible and practical.
“With over 145 years of nutrition expertise, Quaker has always been committed to making nutrition accessible to every home. As consumer preferences aggressively shift toward better yet flavourful choices, we see a growing demand for everyday meals that don’t compromise on taste or nourishment,” said Saakshi Verma Menon, Chief Marketing Officer, Foods, PepsiCo India.
“The 10-Day Quaker Oats Challenge is our way to engage with consumers to experience how they are reimagining oats not just as a nutritious breakfast food, but as a versatile, delicious ingredient that fits seamlessly into modern Indian kitchens,” she added.
“We are thrilled to partner with Chef Vikas Khanna who truly epitomizes creativity in culinary. This campaign is our leap in making nutritious eating a daily, delightful habit.”
“My journey with Quaker has been a deeply personal one. Over the years, I have seen how this humble ingredient, oats, can truly transform the way we think about everyday food,” said Chef Vikas Khanna.
“In my own kitchen, I have always believed that food should nourish, comfort and connect, and oats have consistently done that for me. With this 10-Day Challenge, I hope people see oats as the humble hero ingredient.”
“India’s culinary diversity calls for versatile ingredients and oats rise to the occasion, blending beautifully across a range of regional flavours. They offer nutrition without ever compromising on taste. This challenge is a celebration of that versatility.”
