Maggi’s World Environment Day Campaign Says: Keep Yellow Wrappers In The Blue Bin Maggi environment campaign, World Environment Day 2025, plastic waste India, blue bin awareness, Maggi wrapper recycling, Nestlé sustainability India, 2-minute desh ke naam, eco-friendly campaigns India, waste segregation India, Blue Yellow Green campaign

Maggi has launched a new campaign on World Environment Day using absurd everyday visuals to make a simple point — everything belongs in its place, especially waste.

The short film features scenes like sunglasses inside a microwave and shoes in the fridge — all driving home the idea that plastic wrappers don’t belong just anywhere. The message: yellow Maggi wrappers go in the blue dustbin for dry waste.

The campaign is part of Maggi’s broader push around plastic responsibility, highlighting its ongoing effort to collect and recycle as much plastic as it uses. It sits under the umbrella of the larger “2-minute desh ke naam” campaign, which encourages small daily actions towards cleaner habits.

At the end of the film, the campaign connects the familiar yellow Maggi packaging and blue waste bins with a green planet — wrapping up the message in the tagline: “Blue + Yellow = Green.”

“For many decades, MAGGI has been a cherished part of Indian households — a connection we value deeply. This campaign encourages a positive behavioural shift that can lead to long-term positive impact. With this campaign, we urge everyone to take a small step — starting with just two minutes of mindful action each day so that we can responsibly collect and dispose for rightful re-use of waste.”said Rupali Rattan, Head, Foods business, Nestlé India
