Tell us about your journey, how did blogging come into the picture? Are you a full-time blogger?
It was basically just writing or better said expressing my thoughts and my experiences and slowly People started reading it and started Loving it and rather also started acting on it and it was then I realized that this is a good place to be. All the parties involved are happy. Reader, Brand and seeing them Happy I was happy too. Jee yes been a full-time blogger for past 3 years 🙂
Tell us more about your life story. What did you do before you set up your blog?
I have See-Sawed between Full-time job and Entrepreneurship for long. It was during one such sabbatical from my Marketing job that I explored writing and Travelling and has remained with me ever since. I have worked with Appu Ghar Swiss Military and Gitanjali Jewels.
How did you decide on a niche for your blog?
That was Natural. I Love Food and realized most of my posts are on Food only and without me sayings so, people started referring to me as a Food Blogger. So it just flowed automatically.
What challenges have you faced with your blog?
Multiple Jee. From Technology point of view to Social media to Creating Content. And at sometimes all that can go wrong, goes wrong. At the end for Social media and Content, one has to simply Think, Try, Attempt, Learn, Implement. Technology is a wild animal that needs specialist so that is still a problem.
Skills or Qualities required for becoming a Blogger
- Ear to the ground.
- Understanding Human Psychology
- Using the technology to the Maximum
- Becoming a Subject matter expert in your domain.
- Skill to say NO to work that is not Priority.
Was becoming a food blogger something you always wanted to do?
Never knew that such a term existed. However, I’m loving what I have been doing. Always wanted to do something on similar lines. 🙂
Describe your personal fashion style for our readers.
I’m a Minimalist. I always wear a Red turban, Blue Denims, and a Black Round Neck Tshirt. The only change is the text on the T-shirt. It ranges from Tikku to Dil Wala, To Shararti, to Blogger to Dilliwala. All the things that represent me. One reason is also to customize everything. This has helped a lot in personal branding too. Though it’s not easy.
Which cuisine is your favorite and recommend the top 5 restaurants that you totally believe in?
Favorite Cuisine is North Indian no Doubt. Includes Punjabi, Mughlai food.

It has just started and shall keep evolving for next decade. Lot many people shall jump in and lot many shall jump out. People will get more Rational, Brand will understand it better and more money would flow into this aspect of Marketing.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
A tough one because I did not enter it thinking it’s a business. And still don’t think so. Though yes, We do have a team with us from day one and we are Cash positive from day one. But I believe that Blogging has a personal connection that reflects through your communication. And if you treat it Purely as a business then it shall reflect in your content and then the disconnect seeps in.
Still, to answer you, We would be doing what we are doing currently in a 10 times bigger and better way. And maybe add 2 more verticals. Video Surely is a big part of our Strategy.
