Look How ‘Droom’ Has Come Up With An Amazing Concept Of ‘God Intervention’ To Slow Speed Down

Road Safety has been one of the most talked about topics in recent years. Speed has been one of the major reasons for death in Road Accidents. Fast driving leads to lesser time to stop if something unusual or unexpected comes in the way.

In 2013, 3,064 people were killed or seriously injured in crashes where speed was a factor. Things got worsened year by year as the death rate got increased to 57,844 in 2016.

This steep rise in mortality graph has made Droom think about this issue to be taken seriously and they have launched a new innovative way to make people slow down their speed while driving. What a brilliant marketing strategy for these people!

What Is Droom ?

Have a used car to sell but don’t know where to go, whom to approach? Droom must be the right platform for you. Found in 2014 in Silicon Valley, the Gurgaon-based startup is the first platform in India where one can buy and sell used automobiles.

Droom has a very committed and strong founding team with over 75 years of combined experience in FMCG, Internet, technology and E-commerce. They are now a well-established group having 1,65,000 sellers enjoying a 4.75 million plus facebook community and 6.5 million app users.

What Did They Come Up With

What if you are driving and suddenly the God’s Idol in your dashboard starts speaking as soon as you break your speed limit?
Would you stop then?

Exactly what Droom has come up with. Keeping in mind the fact that in India most people are atheists and are witnessed to prefit their dashboard with Idols of God, they replaced them with their own made dashboard deities which are fitted to the car accelerators.

The result is simple! You increase speed and you will hear the Voice Of God intervening and warning you. To voice this and spread all over they have also come up with an excellent video which will touch the emotional quotient of the masses.

What Is The Video About ?

The video campaign starts off with the strong message, ‘Would you STOP over speeding if God asked you to?’. It opens showing how speed has disrupted lives of people over years. The speed breakers, traffic rules and even the traffic police officers weren’t enough to stop people. So, Droom took a different path by intervening Gods in the business. Every Individual in India gets over-emotional in the name of religion and deities and every car dashboard is seen to be a home for various Idols of God.

In the video, the deities are replaced by Droom ones fitted with accelerators and they are given a voice – a voice that drivers can’t ignore – The Voice Of God. As soon as the speed limit is crossed the deities on the dashboard like Lord Ganesha, Satya Sayi, Lord Saraswati and so on starts saying tricky oneliners which are warnings for the drivers.

Let us have a look what they say ?

1. Lord Ganesha: Why are you in such a hurry to meet me, child ? Slow Down.
2. Lord Krishna: Your soul is permanent. But not your body. Drive slowly.
3. Guru Nanak: Child, your body is your temple. Drive safely. Drive slowly.
4. Lord Saraswati: Why drive in a such a haste child? Drive slowly. Drive Peacefully.
5. Satya Sayi: We are all children of God. But why hurry to meet him? Drive slowly.

Exactly like these several other deities like Lord Shiva, Hanuman can be chosen to voice once one breaks the limit. These deities are made available on Droom’s app and they call it ‘God’s Intervention’!

Hopefully, this beautiful message in the video and this new innovated technology would help India to cope up with accident problems due to speed in future.
