Gaurav Mehta, previously associated with Rukam Capital as Operating Director, has now joined Lilly India as Senior Director- Marketing and Strategic Capabilities.
He shared the news of his appointment through a LinkedIn post.
Mehta joined Rukam Capital in September 2024. Before that, he served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Noise from March 2023 to March 2024.
Prior to that, he served as Zupee’s CMO between June 2021 and March 2023. At Noise, he led the marketing function, where he was responsible for devising strategies and managing all marketing efforts. Between December 2016 and June 2021, Mehta was associated with GirnarSoft as its CMO. Prior to that, he served as OLX South Asia’s CMO, from January 2013 to December 2016.
Before that, he was associated with Yahoo for nearly five years in various capacities including, Senior Account Manager, Group Manager and Chief Manager. Previously, he worked as Manager- Marketing at iSmart Panache, between November 2006 to June 2008.
He previously owned a brand called Brand DNA, from October 2003 to November 2006. Before that, Mehta served as JWT’s Account Executive, from May 2003 to October 2003. Between 2002 and 2003, he was associated with Elephant Design as Project Manager.
