Vikram Lad Returns To Zee Entertainment Enterprises As Business Head

Vikram Lad has taken on the role of Business Head – Hamara Parivar, Zee Entertainment Enterprises ZEEL, where he will be focusing on ZEE TV’s exclusive show listening to its viewers feedback to shape up content strategy.

He will be looking after Hamara Parivar P&L including BD, Strategic Marketing and Partnership.

Previously, from July 2023 to September 2024, he served as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer with Kintree. Before this, he was an independent Business Strategy and Growth Consultant for two years, during which he helped two media production houses to sell or syndicate their content in the South East Asia Market to various OTT, Linear TV, Telecom, etc.

Previously, Lad served as Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer (CBO) at unShots from May 2022 to September 2022. unShots is the group company of URBANRISE Lifestyle, a brand of South India’s Alliance Group.

Earlier, he was associated with Chingari for nearly two years. He joined the company as Business Head- Sales and Brand Partnership in July 2020. Following this, he was elevated to Chief of Business Development in December 2020. From April 2019 to June 2020 he was Co-Founder of Valorous Media.

In his first stint with ZEE, he served as Business Head of Thailand from September 2017 to March 2019. In this role, he was responsible for P&L and developed an overall channel strategy and action plan to create a sizable quality audience, among other things.

Prior to this, he was associated with The Walt Disney Company for almost four years. He started his journey with the company as Manager Ad Sales- Star Sports and Hotstar in December 2013. Subsequently, he was Senior Manager Ad Sales (FMCG Category)- Star Sports from July 2017 to September 2017.

Before this, he worked with Rediff.com India for more than two years. He joined the platform in May 2011 as Senior Manager- Business Development and was responsible for client servicing and key account management. Along with establishing and growing relationships with local and corporate businesses to generate new revenue opportunities. After this, he served as Regional Head- Mumbai from July 2012 to December 2013.

From April 2010 to May 2011, he was Manager- Ad Sales at Diligent Media Corporation. Previously, Lad served as Senior Sales Account Manager at Reliance Broadcast Network- BIG 92.7 FM from August 2007 to March 2010. In this position, he created, maintained, and enhanced relationships with accounts in identified categories. Moreover, he developed relationships with business clients, in and out of present client categories.

In the past, he was associated with Bharti Airtel for over three years. He joined the company as Supervisor (Gallery) in October 2003. Following this, he was Relationship Manager from March 2006 to February 2007.
