At Dabur India, the company’s old hand Rajiv Dubey, who had been serving the role of Vice President (VP) for over nine years, has now been entrusted with an expanded portfolio including leading experiential marketing and brand activations.
Being associated with Dabur India for more than three decades, in his newly expanded role at the company, he will now be taking care of all things- media, growth, brand activations, experiential marketing, and innovation.
He joined the FMCG major in January 1994 as Media Manager. Later, he was promoted to the role of Senior Media Planning Manager/ Group Marketing Manager in August 1997. Following this, he was elevated to Head of Media Buying in August 2003.
Subsequently, he served as Deputy General Manager/ Assistant General Manager from August 2007 to April 2013. In this role, he managed larger teams and looked after the affairs of Adbur, the in-house agency of Dabur. Additionally, he handled the media planning business of Dabur Foods and Dabur Ayurvedic which were planned separately.
From April 2013 to April 2015, Dubey served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/ Head of Adbur. Finally, he was promoted to Vice President in April 2015.
Earlier on, he was associated with Zee Telefilms as Sales Manager from 1993 to 1994. In the past, he served as Ad Executive at Lokmat from 1992 to 1993.
