After the successful conduction of Cannes Lions 2024 wherein India secured a total of 59 shortlists and won a total of 18 metals, the dates for the 72nd edition of the International Festival of Creativity have been announced.
Next year, Cannes Lions 2025 is slated to take place at its usual spot at the French Riviera between June 16 and June 20.
In the recently culminated Festival, India’s Creative Contingent brought home a total of 18 Lions with Leo Burnett Mumbai leading the charts from India with 5 Lions including 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze Metals.
Following Leo Burnett Mumbai from India at the 71st edition of Cannes Lions was Ogilvy Mumbai with 4 Metals, McCann Worldgroup Gurugram with 3 Metals and VML Mumbai and Early Man Film Mumbai alongwith Kondurkar Studio Delhi with 2 Metals each.
As against 2023 wherein a total of 809 entries were sent by the Indian Creative Contingent to Cannes Lions, in 2024 a total of 836 entries were sent to the Festival.
