Good news for media sector as 4 media companies have made it to the Top 100 companies in India to work for, according to the study titled ‘India’s Best Companies to Work For 2018′. This study was conducted by The Economic Times and Great Place to Work. Music Broadcast (Radio City), ZEEL, InMobi, and Viacom18 are the media houses nominated for this.
Among these four, Music Broadcast (8th) is the only one in the top 10. InMobi is at the 41st position followed by ZEEL (51st), and Viacom18 (71st).
Over 600 companies Indian companies had applied for this list making it one of the largest Studies in the space of Workplace Recognition. The rankings are based on mainly 2 factors- Trust Index and Culture Audit. The first factor is measured by the quality of employee experience takes as anonymous feedback from employees. The second one evaluates the people practices of the company covering the entire employee life-cycle. The only criteria to apply for this study is to have an employee strength of more than 500.
