Women empowerment and encouragement of female entrepreneurs has always been a crucial and necessary part for our society’s development. I wouldn’t’ say we have done it all but we are surely on the right path considering the number of female entrepreneurs that are being recognised gradually. We still have a long way to go no doubt in that.
But today we are here to mention and appreciate a couple of male entrepreneurs and their respective startups that have been working to make life a little easier for us women.
1. Clovia

2. Pee Safe
Pee Safe, India’s leading hygiene and wellness brand, was recently awarded with the title of ‘The Best SMB Brand of the Year ‘at Amazon #SMBhav 2020 held on 15th January 2020. The award was received by the founder Vikas Bagaria, in the presence of Jeff Bezos and over 3000 other small and medium businesses (SMBs) in New Delhi. Pee Safe received the award for its contribution towards addressing women’s hygiene and sanitation issues through products such as its flagship Toilet Seat Sanitizer Spray.
3. YesMadam
Yes Madam, India’s most authentic & affordable tech-driven beauty and wellness services platform providing salon at-home services was founded by two Brothers Mayank Arya and Aditya Arya. With a unique pricing model in place, along with quality services, Yes Madam is challenging the status quo and disrupting India’s beauty and wellness industry.
4. MyGlamm
Founded in July 2015 by Darpan Sanghvi, MyGlamm has a team of 75 people spread across its Mumbai and Pune office. The startup initially started with 450 services and today it has 15,000 services with a pool of 1,800 beauty professionals in Mumbai and Pune. It delivers close to 600 services a day. According to Darpan, 65 percent of the orders come from Mumbai and 35 percent from Pune. The gross margins are in the range of 40-50 per cent.
