World’s first laptop with two screens was launched on Thursday in Berlin. Lenovo’s C930 Yoga Book becomes the world’s first in this category is a windows device.
It has the following features:
- Two screens with a digital keyboard, completely flexible
- One screen can turn into an e-reader or a scribble pad
- It comes with a Bluetooth pen to write on the screen
Priced at a whopping $1,164 or approx. 82.7k INR, this laptop will be available for sale in Asia, Middle East, and Europe from the end of September.
The laptop markets have been seeing a decline in sales for 2-3 years, and this laptop looks promising enough to change the scenario for better. According to IDC (International Data Corporation), Lenovo saw about 11% growth year on year in quarter 2 of 2018. With new launches in the pipeline, Lenovo surely seems on a roll to change this for better revenues.
Running on Windows 10, Yoga C930 is a premium category laptop and has an advanced entertainment experience to boast of with a built-in soundbar.
Lenovo is also diversifying into the internet of things (IoT) technology business with bringing in other gadgets as well.
Lenovo unveiled a series of smart home products including an internet-connected plug, camera and light bulb at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, Germany. These gadgets will be compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant products with availability starting in the U.S. market from November.
