Want To See Your Photos On A Billboard? Apple Has The ‘Shot on iPhone Challenge’ For You

Being someone interested in Marketing and Advertising, a lot of us have fantasize our pictures on the billboards of popular brands. To fulfill one such wish, tech giant Apple has launched a challenge in which the company is asking users to submit the most-stunning images captured on iPhones. Details below:

  • From January 22 to February 7, Apple is looking for outstanding photographs for its “Shot on iPhone Challenge”.
  • A panel of 11 judges will review worldwide submissions and select 10 winning photos. The winners will be announced on February 26.
  • The winning pictures will be featured on billboards in selected cities, Apple retail stores and online.
  • The best photo clicked with iPhone can be submitted to Apple by posting on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag, #ShotOniPhone. On Chinese networking site, Weibo, participants can use the hashtag, #ShotOniPhone#.
  • Participants will have to specify in the caption about the iPhone model they used to click the photograph. High-resolution photos can be submitted to Apple at [email protected] with the file format ‘firstname_lastname_iphonemodel.’
  • Both edited and non-edited photos will be eligible for the challenge

“You retain your rights to your photograph; however, by submitting your photo, you grant Apple a royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive license for one year to use,” said the company
