According to the Customer Sales Survey Report 2022 by Hansa Research, Online shopping was preferred the most during the festive season. Even though the physical stores were giving attractive offers and discounts, customers preferred shopping through the comforts of their homes during the festive season in 2022.

In the list of most purchased products, mobile phones were on top. Shoes and electronic items were the next most purchased products in 2022. Brands and Shopping websites gave a lot of importance to customer experience and worked towards making the shopping experience of customers comfortable and convenient.

2. Entertainment Trends

The Brand Endorser Report 2022 by Hansa research revealed that Amitabh Bachchan was the most popular and recognized celebrity in India. Many young and trending actors could not beat him in terms of popularity.

Sachin Tendulkar still rules the hearts of Indians as in the sports sector, he is the number one celebrity as per the report. A big reason brands trust these veterans for the endorsements of their brands is that they are trustworthy, relatable, and likable and are a good choice for the endorsements.

Among the South Indian celebrities, Allu Arjun and Samantha Prabhu merged as the most popular celebrity. A big reason for this is the rise in viewership of OTT platforms, because of which their popularity has grown across India. Bhuvan Bam is the most recognized influencer on Youtube.

Bg screens made a comeback n 2022. People preferred to watch Cricket on a bigger screen and chose Smart TV on Hotstar instead of phones, unlike in past years.

3. Travel Trends

As per the survey by Hansa Research 2022, Cruise holidays were liked the most and emerged as the top family travel trend in 2022. On behalf of Norwegian Cruise Line, it was recognized that 8 out 0f 10 families planned for a cruise vacation abroad in the next year.

A lot of reasons impacted the travel trends this year. 79% of people considered a family vacation to be important as they want to make o for the lost time in a pandemic, and 89% believe that they need to spend quality time with family for their holistic well-being. 69% of people wanted value for money whereas 61% preferred easy access to attractions and activities while traveling.

4. Banking & Insurance Trends

According to Digipay Customer Experience Score (CuES) 2022 by Hansa Research, the banking and insurance sector were dominated by Trust and Customer Support. Security, customers preferred banking digital payments apps because of security, privacy, and customer support.

As per the reports by Customer Experience Score (CuES) 2022 by Hansa Research, the most popular choices among customers were HDFC life and ICICI prudential life.
