MNCs have thrived in India in the last decade or so. Mainly because of the easily available & stable workforce. Having started your career in one of these MNCs can boost one’s credibility in the market and make your resume more attractive. Not only the job seekers but India as a whole has a lot to gain from these MNCs. Apart from providing employment, they provide investments and infrastructure and has enhanced the foreign exchange boosting economic growth.

We have comprised a list of Top 15 Best Multinational Companies in India for you.

1. Microsoft

Founded by Bill Gates in 1975, the company is known for its operating systems, software products, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer. The Company has a headquarter in India in the city of Hyderabad.

According to Forbes 2018, the companies evaluation stands at a whopping 750.6 billion dollars. No wonder Bill Gates is the richest man in the world.

2. International Business Machines Cooperation (IBM)

Leading the information technology (IT) industry, IBM is valued at 132.3 billion dollars. This New York-based company was founded by Charles Ranlett Flint in 1992. The IT services provided by the company range from application management, business consultancy, storage solutions, computer hardware as well as nanotechnology.

3. Nestle

Founded by Henri Nestle in 1912, the company is known for its high-quality food products. Nestle India has offices located in Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, and Mumbai.

4. Procter & Gamble (P&G)

The company has been a huge part of every Indian household in one way or the other. Whether it is detergent like Ariel or Tide or self-care products such as Pantene, Oral-B Gillette, Olay even Whisper and Pampers. You will find the company logo on all these products and on many more.

5. Coca Cola

The non-alcoholic beverage company was founded in 1886 but entered the Indian market in 1993 through Coca Cola India Private Limited Subsidiary. The company is valued at 179.3 billion dollars and has a head office in Kolkata.

Founded by the merger of Pepsi-Cola Company & Frito Lay in 1965, the company is evaluated today at 138.1 billion dollars. PepsiCo operates in India through its subsidiary, PepsiCo India Holding Private Limited.

7. Citi Group

The Company was formed in 1998 after the merger of Citicorp and Travellers Group. Its current evaluation stands at 185.8 billion dollars. The Citi Group has more than 40 branches all over India operated in the name of Citibank.

8. Sony Corporation

A Japan-based company, Sony Corporation was founded in 1946. They entered the Indian Market in 1994 with a wide range of electronics such as televisions, mobile phones, PlayStation, cameras, and a lot more.

9. Hewlett Packard (HP)

With its central office in California, HP was founded by David Packard & Bill Hewlett in 1939. The valuation is about 27.4 billion dollars. They have an Indian Headquarters located in Bangalore.

10. Apple Inc

11. TATA Group

The most trustworthy service provider, TATA Group employs around 660800 people in all its companies altogether. Founded by Jamsetji Tata in 1868, the evaluation of the entire group currently stands at 103.5 billion dollars.

12. Aditya Birla Group.

13. Google

This American based company was founded by Larry Page in 1998. Not just a search engine anymore, Google has a range of services to offer now. The company has offices based in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The total value of the company is 132.1 billion dollars.

14. Cognizant

15. Infosys

Founded by N.R. Narayana Murthy in 1981, the company’s last year revenue was evaluated at 10.93 billion dollars. Infosys has a headquarters in Banglore and offices worldwide.
