Top 10 Selling Cars In India In February 2020

The year 2020 was expected to be more fruitful for the automotive industry. Despite the belief, in the second month of the year itself, the majority of brands reported downward sales except for Ford & Renault.

Today we bring you a list of top 10 selling cars in February 2020.

1. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

The New Generation Strong HEARTECT platform in the S-PRESSO assures safety and stability. With a spacious cabin and bold seating trim for your optimum level of comfort.

No of units sold in February 2020: 9578

2. Hyundai Venue

Hyundai offers its sub-4m SUV with a choice of three engine options: two petrol and one diesel. The 1.2-liter petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and has an output of 83PS/115Nm. It is offered only on the E and S variants of the Venue. The 1.4-liter diesel engine comes paired to a 6-speed manual and makes 90PS/220Nm.

No of units sold in February 2020: 10,321

3. Hyundai Grand i10

The Grand i10 is now available with a BS6 compliant petrol engine. Hyundai now offers the Grand i10 in only two petrol-MT trims: Magna and Sportz. The Magna variant is offered with a CNG kit as well. The Magna petrol-MT is priced at Rs 5.86 lakh/Rs 5.9 lakh (metallic), the Sportz petrol MT at Rs 6.2 lakh/Rs 6.24 lakh (metallic) and the Magna CNG at Rs 6.53 lakh/Rs 6.57 lakh (metallic) — all prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

4. Maruti Suzuki Eeco

Maruti Suzuki Eeco price starts at ₹ 3.91 Lakhs and goes up to ₹ 4.95 Lakhs. The price of the Petrol variant for Eeco ranges between ₹ 3.91 Lakhs – ₹ 4.32 Lakhs and the price of the CNG variant for Eeco is ₹ 4.95 Lakhs.

No of units sold in February 2020: 11,227

5. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga’s price starts at ₹ 7.59 Lakhs and goes up to ₹ 11.21 Lakhs. The price of the Petrol variant for Ertiga ranges between ₹ 7.59 Lakhs – ₹ 10.13 Lakhs, the price of the CNG variant for Ertiga is ₹ 8.95 Lakhs. and the price of the Diesel variant for Ertiga ranges between ₹ 9.87 Lakhs – ₹ 11.21 Lakhs.

No of units sold in February 2020: 11,782

6. Kia Seltos

Seltos is available in 24 variants. Out of these 24 variants, 16 are Manual, 6 are Automatic and 2 are Automatic (CVT). Kia Seltos price starts at ₹ 9.89 Lakhs and goes up to ₹ 17.34 Lakhs. The price of Petrol variant for Seltos ranges between ₹ 9.89 Lakhs – ₹ 17.29 Lakhs and the price of Diesel variant for Seltos ranges between ₹ 10.34 Lakhs – ₹ 17.34 Lakhs.

No of units sold in February 2020: 14,024

7. Maruti Suzuki Baleno

It is offered with standard safety features such as rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and dual front airbags across all variants. Maruti also offers a rearview camera on the Baleno. It now gets an LED projector headlamps and new alloy wheels. The Baleno sports a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto climate control, push-button stop/start, and passive keyless entry.

No of units sold in February 2020: 16,585

8. Maruti Suzuki Alto

The Alto comes with a driver’s airbag as standard. A front passenger airbag is offered as an option on the Std and LXi variants, while it is standard on the top-spec VXi. Further safety updates include ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a speed alert system as well as a front occupant seatbelt reminder. The 2019 Alto also features a new Bluetooth-enabled audio system with a mobile dock on the top-spec VXi variant.

No of units sold in February 2020: 17,921

9. Maruti Wagon R

The new WagonR features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual AC, all four power windows, and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs. What’s more, Maruti also offers the hatchback with rear washer and wiper with defogger, 60:40 split rear seats, and front fog lamps.

No of units sold in February 2020: 18,235

10. Maruti Swift

The Swift has priced between Rs 5.14 lakh and Rs 8.84 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It comes in four variants: L, V, Z, and Z+. It is powered by either a 1.2-liter petrol unit that churns out 83PS of power and 113Nm of torque or a 1.3-liter diesel engine that produces 75PS and 190Nm. Both the powertrains come with the option of either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.

No of units sold in February 2020: 18,696
