According to the YouGov’s annual “brand health rankings” for India, US technology giants like Google, Whatsapp and YouTube are the most trusted brands in India.
While the California based internet search engine giant Google was the most positively perceived brand in India, others that made the list of top 10 included home grown names such as restaurant aggregator Swiggy and online travel booking portal MakeMyTrip.
The rankings were based on an index score that was calculated by taking the average of impression, quality, value, satisfaction, reputation, and whether users would recommend these brands to others.
Here’s the list of top 10 Brands with the highest index scores between July 1, 2018, and June 30, 2019:
