Top 10 Most Luxurious & Premium Brands In The World 2019

Brand Finance, an independent branded business valuation consultancy recently revealed the list of top 10 most luxurious and premium brands of the year. The list is mainly dominated by French luxury brands. 

The list goes like this- 

1. Porsche

The German Automobile giant Porche AG topped the list with a brand value worth US$29.3 billion. Owned by Volkswagen AG, Porsche specializes in high-performance sports cars. 

2. Cartier

Founded in Paris in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier, the French luxury brand Cartier occupied the second spot on the list. The French luxury goods conglomerate designs, manufactures, distributes, and sells jewelry and watches.

3. Louis Vuitton


The French fashion house and luxury retail company Louis Vuitton or as commonly called LV was listed at number 3 on the list. Founded in 1854 the brand is known for its iconic monogram labeled products. The company sells a range of products which include luxury trunks, shoes, watches, jewelry, accessories, etc. 

4. Chanel

Owned by Alain Wertheimer and Gerad Wertheimer Chanel, the French fashion brand occupied the number 4 spot on the list. The high fashion house specializes in high-fashion and ready-to-wear clothing, luxury goods, and fashion accessories.

5. Hermes

Founded in 1837, the French manufacturer of high fashion luxury goods Hermes secured the number 5 spot on the list. It specializes in accessories for clothing, fashion, home furnishing, perfumery, shoes, watches and ready-to-wear.

6. Gucci

The Italian luxury fashion and leather goods brand secured the number 6 spot on the list. Founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci the company was listed at number 41 in the Top Global 100 Brands by Interbrand after successfully generating revenue of € 4.2 billion in 2008. 

7. Ferrari

The Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari was listed at number 7 on the list. Founded in 1939 by Enzo Ferrari the company is headquartered in Maranello. 

8. Rolex

The luxury watch brand founded by Hans Wilsdorf along with Alfred Davis in 1905 secured the 8th spot on the list. The company is globally recognized as one of the finest manufacturers of watches for men and women. 

9. Coach

Tapestry, Inc. is an American international luxury apparel holding company headquartered in New York City that owns three major brands: Coach New York, Kate Spade New York and Stuart Weitzman. Originally named Coach, on October 31, 2017, the organization changed its name to Tapestry. The popular fashion brand secured the number 9 position in the list. 

10. Dior

The French luxury goods company owned and chaired by French businessman Bernard Arnault, who also run LVMH, the largest luxury group in the world secured the last spot in the list.
