Social media has been the hub for everything these days – stellar content, meeting new people and also storing memories. With time now, Social media is also serving as a platform where stars are born and stars are made, sometimes even overnight.

It has been passed down from generations how actors like Khanna Ji and Shahrukh Khan worked day and night for years to be what they are today.

However, now the story will change. Platforms like TikTok have taken the lead in bringing talent in front of the world and believe me, it does so within less than a minute!

Why TikTok?

Apps like TikTok have understood the value of time and good content in today’s fast-paced world. They give users a short fifteen-second span to put their best foot forward for the world to see. It is a perfect combination of trending and democratized content!

What do you need to be an overnight star?

Practically nothing. You can be at your home, doing what you love maybe dance, or comedy or anything else and still be an overnight star. All that matters is your own innovation, creativity, and technique. For example, Nagma Mirajkar from Mumbai makes dance and comedy videos. She has 10.2 million fans on TikTok and she is here to stay, entertain and connect with her fans!

What else goes on?

It isn’t just about making music videos or short stints, it’s about spreading the message. People make tutorials and routine videos, some like Moni Kundu make their own funny family drama videos which became a popular hit in Indian households. Models like Garima chaurasia make their own dance videos and lip-syncing videos for her fans to adore.

TikTok has become the place for everyone to be at, it is the live example of changing times and the amount of impact that one single app can have on millions of people.
