Forbes magazine has recently released its list of the 10 top cities which house billionaires. From India, Mumbai topped the charts by being home to Mukesh Ambani who leveled himself up as Asia’s richest, with a net worth of $85 billion. From the Asia-Pacific region alone, there are 1149 billionaires whose combined net worth equals USD 4.7 trillion, leaving the US billionaires alone worth USD 4.4 trillion.

In the 35h edition released by Forbes, there are 493 new billionaires this time. To sum up, these are the finest cities in the world that house some of our favorite billionaires.

Hong Kong

33 new billionaires became a part of the Forbes list this year from China alone. Hong Kong has some popular billionaires like Henry Cheng & family and Peter Woo.


Russia’s richest billionaire, Vladimir Putin, resides in Moscow making this city 4th on the Forbes list.


Shenzen is another popular city in China, linked with Hong Kong, and has made it to the 5th spot in the list.


To no one’s surprise, the biggest city of China also made the list at the 6th spot housing billionaires like Hao Yan, Huiyan Yang family, and Bangxin Zhang.


The Hinduja family residing in London along with Jim Ratcliffe have contributed to the city ranking 7th on the list.


Apart from Mukesh Ambani, Mumbai is also home to Gautam Adani, Lakshmi Mittal, Cyrus Poonawalla, and Shiv Nadar.

San Francisco came up at the 9th rank on the list in the 35th edition of Forbes.
