redBus' In-House Creative Agency 'The Fuel' Pays Befitting Musical Tribute To Railways Via redRail's ‘Sound Of Nation’ Anthem

redBus’ in-house creative team- The Fuel has launched an anthem titled ‘Sound of Nation’ for
redRail, the rail ticketing platform by redBus which transforms the distinctly recognisable and nostalgic sounds of Indian trains, shared by redRail users, into a unique musical composition.

Produced in-house and shared on redRail’s YouTube and Instagram platforms, this dynamic crowdsourced project plays a tribute to the pivotal role of railways in the freedom struggle and the role they continue to play in India today.

Inspired by iconic and instantly recognisable sounds – platform announcements, chug of trains, tea sellers, and the cheerful voices of passengers and vendors, the “Sound of Nation” encapsulates the rich and evocative sounds of India’s railways.

This medley which weaves crowd-sourced train sounds into an Indian electro-fusion melody is a result of redRail asking its users to share sounds which captured the essence of railways for them, offering a fresh perspective on a timeless symbol of national unity.

Furthermore, the essence of “Sound of Nation” campaign lies in celebrating and rejuvenating the nation’s deep-rooted affection for trains and their pivotal role in shaping unforgettable journeys. And more than just a melody, this instrumental track is a tribute to the stories, memories, and connections that have been forged through decades of train travel.

Commenting on the campaign launch, Pallavi Chopra, CMO, redBus, said, “‘Sound of Nation’ epitomises the innovative spirit of redRail by redBus by transforming the everyday sounds of trains—so pivotal in our daily lives—into an evocative musical piece. This song is actually created by the people of India, given that we crowdsourced it. We have put it together as a creative celebration of our railway heritage, designed to deeply engage our audience and rekindle their appreciation for the iconic train journeys that have shaped our nation.”

“The Fuel, our in-house creative agency, has achieved a great balance in the song, making it contemporary as well as timeless. Through this unique approach, we honor the historical significance of trains while forging a fresh connection with modern India,” she added.
