Teen Orders An iPhone7 Online But Gets An iPhone Shaped Table Instead

| Published on April 2, 2021

Online shopping can prove to be an unhappy experience at times. When people chose to buy a gadget or any other product online, they hope to be paying for what they see. But there have been many incidents when people are deceived by the seller or by anyone involved in the delivery chain.

Something similar has occurred with Apple over the years. The brand might have received numerous complaints over the years where people tried to buy an Apple product online but have ended up with an entirely different thing.

Recently, a Thailand teen ordered an iPhone online but received a rather unexpected product instead, an iPhone-shaped coffee table. According to Oriental Daily, the teen has claimed that he had made an order for an iPhone 7 on an e-commerce platform, Lazada, but instead received a full-sized desk resembling the shape and appearance of an iPhone 7.

However, it wasn’t the online site that deceived him. The teen has shared that he failed to check the product description before making the purchase. In fact, he wondered why the cost of shipping was so expensive. It was only when he received a giant package that he realized he’d made a huge mistake.

The teen had posted a picture of his unexpected purchase and it has gone viral since. The oversized iPhone7 shaped table along with the boy who accidentally ordered it has had the internet tickling with jokes and experiences of their own.

The table seems interesting enough in all fairness. A Korean company that sells the product has shared a few pictures of their table on Instagram. The desk is sized big enough for adults to use, with the entire top surface resembling the look of an iPhone 7.

From the display to the home button, everything about the table is proportioned accurately, and there’s even a drawer that slides out from between the lines that are supposed to make up the phone’s antennae.

He may find himself lucky as compared to the not-so-lucky chaps who have received soap bars instead of their very very expensive purchase of iPhone products.
