Starbucks has had many collaborations with various artists and brands, the world over. The last one was with Indian designer Sabyasachi, that launched limited-edition cups and mugs with delicate prints in India.
And now, another collaboration by the Tata Group-managed coffee chain in India has taken the world of tech collaborations by storm.
Starbucks has collaborated with South Korean tech giant Samsung, to release a special edition of cases featuring thematic designs for their phones- Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, S22 Ultra, and Galaxy Buds.
The cases are designed in quirky ways with four variants. Out of them, one design has the coffee chain’s logo, the second design resembles the classic Starbucks apron.
The third design is reminiscent of a Starbucks receipt. Lastly, one design case features the phrase “Count Stars in your galaxy”
However, the most atypical design is of Galaxy Buds 2. They are custom-made and designed to look like a Starbucks coffee cup with a tiny handle and some amazing latte art. This was one of the most innovative designs ever for buds by any brand.
Another design for their Galaxy buds’ case, features a simple but smart dark green-colored case with the brand’s logo on it.
While Starbucks has had its fair share of renowned collaborations in the past, Samsung too has had some noteworthy tech collaborations.
But this was a catchy and eye-pleasing one, with many showing much love.
According to Samsung, all Starbucks-themed accessories are made using eco-friendly materials.
However, the flip side is that this collaboration was only for the South Korean market. At the time of launch, it wasn’t sure about launching them in other markets.
