World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is not in its best phase as it struggles to survive the market. The wrestling company has been sliding its way down as it continuously fails at producing quality content and attracting the audience.
The storylines created by the company are weak and the promotions aren’t just good enough. The company that once thrived in the wrestling domain is now slowly losing out on its name. In terms of audience, while WWE may have big pay-per-views including some of the most renowned faces of the wrestling world, fans are now shifting towards smaller and fresher brands.
The company is also now threatened with some upcoming competition as All Elite Wrestling or AEW has managed to draw in some of its former WWE superstars like Chris Jericho, Dean Amdrose and also their former commentator Jim Ross.
AEW is backed up by a Pakistani-American billionaire Shahid Khan and has a television contract with one of the biggest networks in the US in the TNT.
The recent blow to the WWE is Randy Orton who has threatened to leave the company and join AEW after WWE delayed in renewing the star’s contract extension.
Orton posted a picture on his Instagram and captioned it,”“Tick Tock Tick Tock” which mostly indicates towards him counting days before he makes the big jump to AEW. In case the wrestling star deicides to call it quits with WWE, it will be a major blow to the company.
Jericho who is tagged in the post commented,”“Send in a tape and some pix and I’ll see what I Can do….”
While the mystery still remains if the WWE wrestler will move to AEW or not we desperately hope for a strong comeback from WWE.
