Last few years have been very impressive for the Indian startup ecosystem as names like Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Deepinder Goyal have given Indian its own set of unicorns that are inspiring Entrepreneurs to take some to do something worthy by ensuring customer satisfaction.
What makes modern entrepreneurs so good is that they are not scared to improve and are taking new initiatives very quickly. Social media platform Twitter has become a great medium for these startups to get feedback from their customers and recently Vijay Shekhar Sharma became the talk of the town when he requested Zomato to add a new feature for the customers who don’t like to pick up calls after ordering food.
Sharma took to Twitter and wrote “Hello @Zomato There should be an option: Do not call me at all. Just deliver it. I will pay a tip for that.” in his recent tweet.

Users on Twitter supported him in this initiative, you can check some below:
1.
Useful option for parents with a sleeping infant kid at home.
Though if someone chooses both “Don’t ring the bell” and “Don’t call me on phone”, it might be a bit tough on the delivery guy to ensure delivery happens 🙂
Maybe a messaging option like Uber- “I’m at the door.”

Well said. This is something I saw from @ola_supports and @Uber_India drivers also. Place a ride , they will immediately call. It kills the seamless experience.

I second that! The number of times I have to say “the big white building.. after the Gurudwara.. next to the park, etc..”

Seeing this Zomato head Deepinder Goyal replied to Shekhar’s tweet.
Good idea. Will get this done.

Even Swiggy was asked to do that same by online users and the food delivery platform ensured the same.
Hi Sreenivas, we are constantly working on improving our app features. Your feedback will be taken in to consideration. Keep Swiggying 🙂

Several other brands took this as an opportunity to talk about themselves.
