OnMobile Global has joined hands with DeOSphere, to offer advanced gaming and network services by deploying the DeOS Operating system, including streaming and edge computing technologies over OnMobile’s current global network infrastructure.
DeOSphere is a decentralised operating system that runs any application by bypassing processing on device operating systems and cloud computing. With this collaboration, DeOSphere will be offering an interactive edge gaming, AI and content networks, enabling new revenue opportunities for game studios and developers while generating important performance efficiencies.
As per the company, in DeOSphere, OnMobile has found a partner and client to upscale its current gaming services and network infrastructure. This partnership leverages the strengths of both organisations and enables future services to be launched.
This will allow OnMobile to monetise its core asset and bring important economies of scale as new services and enterprises are onboarded onto its network. DeOSphere will be leasing a minimum of 30 points of presence (POPs) from OnMobile.
