Ogilvy Onboards L&K Saatchi & Saatchi’s Neeraj Sharma As EVP- Planning

After being on a meaningful ‘Book Break’ for about six months, Neeraj Sharma has now joined Ogilvy India in the capacity of Executive Vice President- Planning. Prior to this, he was associated with L&K Saatchi & Saatchi as Senior Vice President for over two years.

Ogilvy Onboards L&K Saatchi & Saatchi’s Neeraj Sharma As EVP- Planning

After calling it a day at L&K Saatchi & Saatchi in January 2024 and being on a meaningful ‘Book Break’, Neeraj Sharma has now joined Ogilvy India in the capacity of Executive Vice President- Planning.

He was associated with the Publicis-owned agency for over two years, starting December 2021, in the role of Senior Vice President.

During his stint at L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, he contributed to the agency’s new business wins of brands such as Audi, Standard Chartered (Global Mandate), JioMart and Greenpanel amongst others.

From June 2019 to November 2021, Sharma served the role of Head of Strategy at Rediffusion.

Before that he was associated with Ogilvy’s 82.5 Communications for a period of close to two years, starting August 2017 as Head of Strategic Planning and with DDB Mudra Group for close to four years.

He had joined DDB Mudra Group as Senior Strategist in October 2013 and was elevated to the
role of Strategy Director in October 2016.

Prior to that, he had served the role of Partner- Strategic Planning at Rediffusion Y&R from June 2011 to September 2013 and Executive- Account Planning at DraftFCB Ulka from August 2010 to May 2011.

In the past, he also worked with Cadila Pharmaceuticals and Satyam.

Expressing his excitement on the new role, Sharma, EVP- Planning, Ogilvy India, mentioned, “After a meaningful ‘Book Break’, I am glad to announce that I have joined Ogilvy as EVP, Planning. I couldn’t have thought of a better place to be. Even after more than a decade in advertising, this place still excites me. Let’s make people care about ads once again. Shall we?”
