The National Council of Educational Research and Training (UPSC) textbooks have been a staple source of information for students studying from Classes I – XII as well as people aspiring to give the UPSC exams, but their effectiveness shines the most when properly utilized by students preparing for one of the most important exams during their schooling, CBSE board exams.

The NCERT textbooks are an important source of study for students whose schools are affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). These books are of utmost importance due to CBSE following the NCERT curriculum itself and have been trusted by schools all over the country. The NCERT textbooks are a must for  anyone giving their board exams, so here are several reasons why:

1.) The information that is provided within NCERT textbooks is very straightforward and concise for a lot of students. Not only that, these books achieve the goal of making the student understand every topic thoroughly without making it too complicated, this, in turn, helps the students understand the various topics in the fastest and most efficient way possible, making the student knowledgeable in every topic.

2.) NCERT textbooks have been made in such a way that they adhere to the latest  CBSE curriculum. If you ask a teacher working in a CBSE affiliated school about what books are the best for a student giving board exams, then the teacher will confidently tell you that the books that NCERT publishes will be more than enough for the student to earn high-scoring marks.

3.) NCERT textbooks also have practice questions at the end of every chapter of their books, this helps to engage students in the study material and help them revise what they just learned! Not only that, NCERT textbooks sometimes have short questions for small topics scattered throughout the book which helps students who study these topics gain a competitive advantage in the board exams.

4.) The practice questions that come at the end of every chapter in the textbooks hold the key to scoring good marks. This is because the questions that appear in the board exams are mostly picked up from the practice questions of every NCERT textbook. Students who keep practising these questions are surely going to score good marks.  This is mostly true for students who belong to the Arts stream because questions that appear in the board exams are almost similar to the ones that are up for practice.  However, the experience may differ, for example, students who give board exams for  Mathematics might get out of the book questions and they will have to refer to  external sources like R.D Sharma

5.) NCERT books are trusted by many students all over the country, so it would only make sense that these textbooks would undergo an extensive check on the authenticity of the information given in these books. Hundreds of teachers and experts work together as a team to fact-check the information that has been given in these books.

Conclusion

NCERT Books are more than enough for making sure a student scores amazing marks in the board exams with flying colours, so there is no doubt that NCERT books are the most important study material that a board exam student can have.

Here’s how NCERT books for Class 9 Science will help you in the last month preparations!

It’s the last month before the exams, winter is almost settling in, and the days just keep passing by every week. Next month will be a dreadful month when students have to think about how to mug up all the answers to the questions that will appear in the exams so that they can get satisfactory results in their mark sheets in order to make sure their parents are satisfied with their studies as well as for themselves.

This is a much truer fact for students who belong to the science stream, and what makes it harder for them is that they will have to focus on the three core subjects of their stream- namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Adding to these troubles for science students is the fact that they also have more projects and practical work to give to teachers, and the problems just keep adding up.

But science students need not worry because there exists this very helpful NCERT Book for Class 9 Science PDF in Hindi and English form which will help science students prepare for the upcoming exams next month in just the nick of time.

This NCERT Class 9 Science book is presented to science students in a neat form which will help students understand the concepts of Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. This book helps break down the complex concepts of all three subjects. It includes short and comprehensive chapters explaining difficult concepts such as Matter in Our  Surroundings, Atoms & Molecules in Chemistry, or The Fundamental Unit of Life and  Diversity in Living Organism in Biology, or the Force and Laws of Motion and  Gravitation in Physics.

It is a well-known fact that a lot of the students studying for board exams in Class 9  are not well-versed in English. To fix this language barrier problem that has hindered the study time of many Hindi-spoken students, there also exists a Hindi version of the  NCERT Class 9 Science book in PDF form in order to help students who can read and write in Hindi but are unable to do the same when it comes to the text being presented in English.

The book has a total of 15 chapters available, these 15 chapters thoroughly cover all the important concepts of Class 9 Science, and it does so with the utmost precision.  They are –

  1. Matter in Our Surroundings
  2. Is Matter Around Us Pure
  3. Atoms and Molecules
  4. Structure of the Atom
  5. The Fundamental Unit of Life
  6. Tissues
  7. Diversity in Living Organisms
  8. Motion
  9. Force and Laws of Motion
  10. Gravitation
  11. Work and Energy
  12. Sound
  13. Why do We Fall ill
  14. Natural Resources
  15. Improvement in Food Resources
