Jeff Bezos may have left Bill Gates behind, as the richest man but Microsoft’s cloud service helped the company garner 100bn $ turn over first time ever and that shows that Microsoft will always remain the technology giant it is. First time in the history of company, they have crossed the $100 BN mark and Microsoft’s cloud service which comprises of Office 365, Azure and Dynamics 365, has alone contributed about $23 BN.
The extensive marketing strategies of the gaming division also proved extremely beneficial and generated $10 BN. Xbox’s popularity has been helping Microsoft gather good numbers year after year. The professional networking platform LinkedIn also contributed a decent $5 BN.

Now the time will tell whether Bill Gates will be able to regain its number one position as the world’s richest man, with the company striving hard to rake in big moolah, or will Amazon further climb the ladder of success.
