Announcing these tools, Meta released a complete explanation of the features and benefits via a blog post.

Today’s generative-AI-powered ad features are just a start. We plan to offer advertisers more ways to generate ad copy to highlight product selling points or generate background images in minutes with tailored themes, like outdoor images for an athleisure brand. Meta said in the blog post.

Meta has been focusing on creating AI-based tools in the recent past. The company has a language model “Llama 2” and a chatbot ‘Meta AI’ that generates responses in the form of text.

Generative AI has already shown its impact on content creation. Creators are looking for the best ways to use tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney among many others, to produce content.

Now, these announcements by platforms like Meta give a clear sign that AI is here to disrupt advertising, and we will see a huge shift in the skills that companies and employees need to survive in the future.
