Snacking inside an airplane? Say no more! Now you can have your favorite Mc Burger inside this airplane located in New Zealand, all thanks to this decommissioned airplane at the small resort town on the North Island.
McDonalds never fails to amaze us with its unique campaigns and style of work, this ‘snack in an airplane’ thing is no exception. The plane displays the McDonald’s logo in its exterior with an intriguing interior resembling the old Douglas DC-3 along with a number of delectable specialty McDonalds delicacies to go on board- approximately 20 diners can have their meal inside the aircraft which still features its original cockpit behind a glass door.
Eileen Byrne and her husband Des have owned this McDonald’s since 2000, and have been franchisees since 1995. She states how they were “thrilled” when they found themselves topping the Daily Meal’s list of the world’s coolest McDonald’s in 2013, and that the location has since become a huge tourist attraction.
If you are an ardent fan of McDonald’s then this place is a must visit for you!
