We are well aware of the situation that Jet Airways is in. It is on the phase of its bankruptcy due to poor operational efficiency and inefficient governance. The debt-laden airlines are now resorting to a reconstructing plan, wherein it has Adi Partners, a London-based investor, and a consortium of Jet’s employees’, which will together take charge of 75 percent of the skates in the company.
Meanwhile
As the acquisition is in progress, there is this thing happening in the media, which is concerned with Anand Mahindra. Someone, apparently, asked Mr. Mahindra, the Chairman of the Mahindra Group, on Twitter, to make a bid on buying the debt-laden airline and rename it as Mahindra Airways, which is apparently going to work for the betterment of the airline.
I think you should buy #JetAirways
And make it as #mahindraairways
I think it will work

But…
Anand Mahindra completely showed his unwillingness to enter into the aviation industry, be it an airline, with a tweet that states, “If you want to be a millionaire, start with a Billion dollars and then start (buy) an airline!”

This sarcastic comment on the question of buying of the airline has got aftermath, wherein the followers are, in a way, trolling the Jet Airways, by tweeting comments like, ‘A more profitable venture than an airline will be to take over Haryana Roadways!!’
On the hind-side
People are also considering that the future is on the aviation industry and Anand Mahindra should also consider getting into the airline business. This is due to the increase in the average income of the consumers. As the average income of the consumers’ increases, he wants to shift to flights rather than sticking to inferior forms of transportation.

So, the story remains unsaid, as to whether Mr. Mahindra would consider entering the aviation industry or not. But for now, he is in no mood to enter.
