Aditya Mehendale, who had been associated with Schbang for more than eight years and was serving the role of National Creative Director at the agency for the past two-and-a-half years, has now joined Leo Burnett India in the capacity of Executive Creative Director.
Announcing the same on LinkedIn, he mentioned, “I’m delighted to share that I’m joining the creative leadership team at Leo Burnett India! A big thank you to Vikram Pandey, Sachin Kamble and Rajdeepak Das for the opportunity and to Myra Fernandes for facilitating the process.”
“As a prime legacy shop, I have always revered the work Leo Burnett has done and I’m excited to join the company in what has recently been a very exciting era. Looking forward to majorly expanding my canvas and letting the words of Leo himself ring in my ears, ‘Let’s do the obvious thing- the common thing- but let’s do it uncommonly well’,” he added.
Mehendale started his professional career with Schbang by taking up the role of Creative Strategist in July 2016 and was elevated to the role of Creative Manager in May 2017, Group Creative Manager in June 2018, Creative Director in September 2020 and National Creative Director in April 2022.
Prior to that, he also interned with DigitasLBi India, Sooperfly, Draft FCB Ulka and Zycus.
