KL Rahul Intentionally Destroys Rs. 50K Sneaker To Make A Style Statement

| Published on October 25, 2019

Indian cricketer KL Rahul who besides his cricket capabilities is also known for his style recently turned heads when he showed up at an event wearing a pair of desecrated shoes.

Rahul who opted for a casual look for the launch event of streetwear brand Gully, Curato wore Off-Court 3.0 white sneakers from the brand Off-white which normally cost around $670 or Rs.47,000. But what caught the eyes of many was its not so original look.

These sneakers are usually made in Italy using A-grade suede leather and have rubber soles which give them a dirty and tough look due to their soiled and patina-like finish around the sole and the uppers.

The shoes that usually come with orange plastic tag and few other embellishments which actually give Off-White their signature aesthete were stripped off from the shoes. And while KL surely went a step ahead in customizing an already unique pair of shoes, there’s no denying that he still remained the show-stealer.
