Wieden+Kennedy India’s Kapil Batra Joins Lowe Lintas As President- Mumbai

After being associated with Wieden+Kennedy India for over a year, Kapil Batra has now joined Lowe Lintas as President- Mumbai. Reporting to Prateek Bhardwaj, Chief Creative Officer (CCO), Lowe Lintas, he will be responsible for taking the agency’s Mumbai office to new creative heights and continue Lowe’s legacy of delivering impactful and culturally relevant work.

Wieden+Kennedy India’s Kapil Batra Joins Lowe Lintas As President- Mumbai

Lowe Lintas, one of India’s leading advertising agencies, has appointed former Wieden+ Kennedy India National Creative Director- Kapil Batra as its new President- Mumbai office, effective immediately.

As per the agency, this development completes the creative leadership team at Lowe Lintas Mumbai.

Reporting to the agency’s Chief Creative Officer- Prateek Bharadwaj, Batra will be responsible for taking Lowe Lintas’ Mumbai office to new creative heights and continue Lowe Lintas’ legacy of delivering impactful and culturally relevant work whilst strengthening the agency’s creative and strategic vision.

Bringing with him over two decades of experience in the advertising industry, he comes with a track record of creating iconic campaigns and holding leadership positions at renowned creative agencies like Wieden+Kennedy India and McCann Erickson and a recognition to his name at prestigious platforms including Cannes, D&AD, Clio, One Show, Spikes Asia, and Effies, among others.

His body of work includes the much-celebrated “PayTM Karo” campaign, the endearing “Share a Coke” series, the evergreen “Mirchi Sunne Wale Always Khush (Rudaali)”, Yatra.com’s “Ehsaan mat lo, discount lo”, Happydent’s “Dikha Bateesi kar baat achhi si” campaign and the widely acclaimed “Dettol Soap Bubbles” activation.

That being said, his appointment at Lowe Lintas comes at a time when the agency is focused on strengthening its creative offerings and expanding its footprint in the Indian advertising landscape, with a focus on crafting brands of the future, with profound ideas on every single culture, stories that will change the way brands can connect, the way they can lead, and the impact they can have on the world.
