1. Why Amazon?

Keep calm! This is the most simple question that every other company asks but the answer must be unique enough and in contrary to the companies work ethics.

2. Jeff Bezos walks into your office and says you can have a million dollars to launch your best entrepreneurial idea. What is it?

The interviewer was trying to figure out if you can think big. Their main aim is to look out for your passion and ideas and how you will chalk that out. This will lead into a series of questions that probably are tailored to the job role under discussion.

3. If your direct manager directed you to do something you disagreed with, what would you do?

Definitely, this depends on the situation. Immediately you can’t refuse to agree that might get you into trouble. It can lead your boss to become Bossier with you. You have to consider what condition your boss is trying to change – or what problem they are trying to solve. If you think that is valid but it’s just the solution you disagree with, then it’s perfectly ok to recommend a different solution which you think will be okay with your boss and satisfy him.

4. What is the worst mistake you ever made?

You might answer that deals with some mistake in your job. Make it funny and witty.

5. Do you know our CEO? How do you pronounce his name?

6. What is the angle between the hour hand and minute hand in an analog clock?

The hour hand of a normal 12-hour analog clock turns 360° in 12 hours (720 minutes) or 0.5° per minute. The minute hand rotates through 360° in 60 minutes or 6° per minute.

7. Describe what Human Resource means to you.

Depends on you, how you choose to describe!

8. Are you willing to work on your feet for ten hours, four days a week?

Keeping active is what drew you to apply for the position and achieve your dream. So you must give an answer that reflects your passion for the job.

9. Here’s a string of numbers from 1-250 in random order, but it’s missing one number. How will you find the missed number?

It is to test your analytics ability. Photograph the list, make that image into Google Docs so it can be converted to characters, find and replace spaces or commas to create a line-by-line list, and then sort it in order in a spreadsheet.

10. What would you do if you found out that your closest friend at work was stealing?

It will test your loyalty to your company versus a loyalty to an employee. It will be upon you how you control your temper and deal with the situation.
