Are humanoid robots going to be the future of marketing gimmicks? The question comes to surface after, Sophia, the humanoid robot created a huge buzz with her presence at the prestigious Forevermark Forum.
This is the 7th season of Forevermark Forum, and in past 7 years, it has proved to be one great platform from the De Beers Group of Companies, wherein all their partners get a chance to transact, interact and share new ideas and perspectives for a mutual growth.
The event that took place in Delhi from the 9th -11th July garnered a lot of limelight especially with the presence of Sophia. Sophia, a humanoid robot, modeled after actress Audrey Hepburn is one of the most advanced kinds of robots and developed by a Hong Kong-based company named Hanson Robotics.

“We are thrilled to have Sophia here as she embodies the theme of the 7th Forevermark Forum – ‘The Future is Now’. Technology has been the driving force for us at Forevermark and, which we know is evolving as fast as it is going obsolete. Through this year’s theme, we wanted to showcase a glimpse into everything the future holds, and Artificial Intelligence is definitely going to be a huge part of it.”
