Are humanoid robots going to be the future of marketing gimmicks? The question comes to surface after, Sophia, the humanoid robot created a huge buzz with her presence at the prestigious Forevermark Forum.
This is the 7th season of Forevermark Forum, and in past 7 years, it has proved to be one great platform from the De Beers Group of Companies, wherein all their partners get a chance to transact, interact and share new ideas and perspectives for a mutual growth.

The event that took place in Delhi from the 9th -11th July garnered a lot of limelight especially with the presence of Sophia. Sophia, a humanoid robot, modeled after actress Audrey Hepburn is one of the most advanced kinds of robots and developed by a Hong Kong-based company named Hanson Robotics.
Sophia was able to participate in the entire process of selecting a Forevermark Diamond and even identifying its features and characteristics. She is all human-like in her appearance and behavior and proved to be a great marketing strategy for the forum.
