The three friends, Kaushik Roy, Vishal Jindal and Ritesh Sinha, transformed their passion for Biryani into a business in 2015 through Biryani By Kilo.

Lucknowi, Malabari and Hyderabadi Biryani are prepared with special recipes from special basmati rice in Kerala spices. This is what makes this startup different from the rest. The restaurant began with just Dum Biryani and as people grew the taste of Biryani, and now Kebab, Korma to Firni, Biryani By Kilo started catering to foodies in all these segments.

Famous Associations – Bigg Boss

This taste of Biryani which the company has opened 35 outlets across the country, has also entered the house of Bigg Boss. Along with this, the choice of many celebrities is Biryani by Kilo. With its popularity, the company has now opened 35 outlets across the country. Today, Biryani By Kilo now has 70 outlets.

Doing business of 50 crores annually

Biryani By Kilo got help from IVYCAP Ventures, CX partners funding to set up this strong business. The company is serving the taste of biryani in countries like Malaysia, Dubai, Indonesia. Currently, Biryani By Kilo is doing a business of Rs 50 crore annually but has set a target of Rs 80 crore by 2020.
