We have all been fascinated with the net worthd of the leading brands in the country. The company’s net worth hugely impacts the chief executive officers’ remuneration. While we know who might be the richest industrialist in India, today we bring you a list of the highest paid CEOs in the country.

Vishal Sikka

Former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka earned about Rs 13 crore in the financial year 2018. Currently, he is the founder and CEO of Vianai, a startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area that provides advanced technological software and services in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to large companies around the world.

Mukesh Ambani

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, has been termed as the wealthiest Indian for the 13th consecutive year with a net worth of 88.7 billion dollars by Forbes India.

Ambani holds 44.7% stakes in the company with a salary of Rs 15 crores per annum.

Rajesh Gopinathan

Rajesh Gopinathan is the CEO and Managing Director of Tata Consultancy Services, a global IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization. For 2020-21, Gopinathan took an annual pay of Rs 20.36 crores.

Guenter Butschek

As the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, and Executive Director of Tata Motors, the total compensation of Guenter Butschek at Tata Motors is Rs 26 crores.

SN Subrahmanyan

SN Subrahmanyan is the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro. L&T Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director S N Subrahmanyan took home ₹27.17 crore for 2019-20, showing a pay cut of 43.91 per cent.

CP Gurnani

CP Gurnani is the CEO & Managing Director of Tech Mahindra. As per reports, he earned a remuneration of Rs. 28.57 crores in the fiscal year 2020.

Sunil Mittal

Sunil Bharti Mittal is the Chairman of Bharti Enterprises. According to the company’s latest annual report, Mittal, the Chairman of Bharti Airtel Ltd, drew a total remuneration of 30.13 crore in 2019-20.

Rajiv Bajaj

Rajiv Bajaj is the managing director of Bajaj Auto since 2005. In the financial year 2020, Bajaj received an annual remmuneration of Rs 39.86 crore.

Salil Parekh

Salil Parekh is the current CEO and managing director of Infosys. Parekh saw his annual pay package jump to ₹49.68 crore in 2020-21, with more than half of the total amount coming from exercise of stock options.

Pawan Munjal

Pawan Munjal is the CEO, Chairman & Managing Director of Hero MotoCorp. In the FY20, Munjal received a remuneration of Rs 85.59 crores. He has been termed as the highest paid CEO in India.
