Heineken Is Offering A Free Haircut With A Pint To Everyone

The UK has witnessed a long lockdown since the onset of the pandemic along with the rest of the world. With the number of cases on a rise, many small businesses like pubs and salons were kept close across the country for almost 4 months now. But this lockdown has been lifted on 12 Apr’21 and people are excited to enjoy the little things, hopefully with the utmost precautions.

Heineken is celebrating the re-opening of pubs and hairdressers by hosting pop-ups in pub gardens. The visitors can now enjoy a pint while getting a haircut.

Heineken Is Offering A Free Haircut With A Pint To Everyone

#ShearGenius is a mobile hairdressing unit that will be set up in pub gardens in London and the West Midlands, so customers don’t have to choose between a having a pint and getting a trim. The sign along with the pub reads, “Cheers to lockdown lifting” and “Celebrate with a fresh pint of Heineken with friends and enjoy a haircut on us.”

To be able to receive a free haircut all you need to do is buy a pint of Heineken. The haircuts will take place in a branded airstream.

The campaign launched in London at The Gregorian pub in Bermondsey, where celebrity hairstylist Michael Douglas supplied trims on 12 April. The West Midlands pop-up will take place on Friday, i.e.,16 April at the Hobs Meadow Pub in Solihull.

Douglas has worked with actresses like Kate Moss and Sienna Miller and has toured the London, Paris, Milan, and New York fashion weeks as well.

The service is offered on a first come first served basis to anyone who buys a pint of Heineken or Heineken 0.0 by 6 pm.

The event, developed by digital agency Coolr, will be supported by a social media campaign that covers all Heineken channels and will include a round-up film. Visitors to the activation will be encouraged to share their experience with #ShearGenius.
