It has been six years since the Tamasha movie was released and boy was it a masterpiece. It has been one of the most loved movies by Imtiaz Ali. Ranbeer and Deepika gave one of the best performances of their careers while playing Ved and Tara.

There were many people who did not find it up to the mark. However, many believed that there was a lot to learn from the movie. Proving the point, here are some of the lessons that you can learn from the movie.

1. Make Time For Yourself

We have all been living a very predictable life since we are born. First school, then college, the job, and then marriage, the set of expectations society has from us is pretty straightforward. You need to take a beat and make time for yourself. Do something you enjoy doing every once in a while.

In the movie, Ranbir’s character is seen taking a break from his monotonous life that brings probably the best version of himself out in the open.

2. It Is Never Too Late

No matter how many years you have spent in a job or a relationship where you feel unhappy, there is always time to move on. After spending years in a job he hates, Ved takes up theatre proving that he can actually make his life worthwhile.

3. Explore The World

Though it is easier said than done, one should always try to make a plan to explore the world as much as possible. Not just international trips, there is so much you can see on a budgeted tour in the country itself. The point is to broaden your horizon and to give you a fresh take on life.

4. Have Faith In Your Dreams

In the movie, Ved can be seen struggling to live a happy life. That was mainly because he had given up on his dreams. This is the worst thing you could do to yourself. Always believe in yourself and give yourself the chance to make your dreams come true.

5. Treat Your Partner With Respect

No matter how much love you have for one another, if there is no respect, you are going to be alone at the end of it all. Ved treats Tara with no respect. And when Tara realizes that Ved will just not change, she leaves to live her life. Treasure the ones you have today cause they may not be with you forever.
