Cricket is more than just a sport in India. The whole country unites in supporting our cricket teams and celebrating the wins of our players. The whole nation came together to congratulate the Indian Women’s cricket team for winning the gold medal during the ongoing Asian Games.

For those who don’t know, Indian team defeated Sri Lanka by 19 runs in the final after Harmanpreet Kaur chose to bat first on winning the toss. The team batted first and scored 116 runs in 20 overs. To this, Sri Lanka only managed to make 97 runs while India won the the gold medal for winning by 19 runs.
