Technology has made our life very easy and entertaining but there are big negatives that should be taken into focus before people end up being lazy and unemployed. Automation is advancing in every industry and replacing humans in most of the tasks.
DD Mishra, who is a Research Director at Gartner has recently said in an interview “Ongoing reductions of headcount in outsourced businesses (due to automation) will eventually result in a scenario where (only) 30 percent of the workforce will remain relevant.” this means almost 70 percent of jobs will be done by robots in the near future. Research Director of another successful IT company Forrester India said “It is bound to accelerate faster in the next year as companies look to enhance performance and garner insights from run-of-the-mill tasks.”
Artificial Intelligence and Robots will take over the low-value repetitive tasks which currently plays a big role in the employment of less skilled people. In order to fight with these circumstances, the workers of the future will need to adapt to the technology to remain valuable.
Workers who can understand how AI works will be in high demand to handle these automatic technologies but this is a very bad news for those who find it difficult to cope with technology changes.
