| Published on August 28, 2018

Along with updated AirPods, a new Apple Watch and refreshed iPad Pro tablets, Apple is all set to launch 3 new iPhones in India by September. Apple is also expected to announce availability specifics of its long-delayed AirPower wireless charger.

All 3 phones are expected to be similar in look as the last launched iPhone x, although it is said that one of them will be comparatively cheaper considering the Indian market sales. It would have an aluminum body in place of the steel frame, but all 3 phones will use the glass back and come loaded with common features like Face ID, gesture-based navigation etc. just like the iPhone X.

Features

Courtesy Bloomberg, which is usually always right, the phones are set to launch on the 12th of September. Two of these phones would be subsequent follow-ups of the iPhone X while the third one is specially designed considering the Indian market and hence lesser in price too. The third phone might be similar to iPhone 5C but it won’t be made of plastic, but come with glass and aluminum frame with reportedly a 6.1-inch screen size using LCD panel, will be made available in different colors.

While the other two will be more powerful versions of iPhone X with 6.5 and 5.8 inches screen respectively. Both these phones will come with OLED screens and advanced dual rear cameras with a much powerful processor.
Overall, all the three iPhones tipped to launch in September this year will represent the ‘S’ phase of the iPhone and they will not be very different in looks from their predecessors but offer crucial upgrades in core hardware including processing and cameras. The new iPhones should also pack updated software, with the most interesting feature said to be an option to run two different apps side-by-side.

Also, a major feature as a first time ever in iPhone is the availability of dual sim option in at least 2 of the 3 phones and this is definitely going to be a win-win.
