Anand Mahindra Gets Impressed By Indian Jugaad. Twitterati Joins Him In Praising Creativity

Indians are known for their jugaads across the whole world. For those who don’t know, a jugaad is a unique idea or hack to solve a particular problem at a very cost. Chairman of Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra is a fan of Indian jugaads and he has the habit of sharing some of the best on his Twitter account.

Recently, he has shared a short video clip on Twitter of the new innovation Khatiya-Vator, which is basically a cot or khatiya as it is called in the local language, attached to a construction vehicle. The apparatus is used to collect the scattered fodder on the field.

Mahindra tweeted a video clip of 30 seconds with caption, “I think the phrase ‘Necessity is the mother of invention’ was invented by Indians! Here’s a new product our Farm & Construction sectors will have to consider as a replacement for an excavator: A ‘Khatiya-vator’.”
