The Indian smartphone market is very competitive nowadays. With the growth of brands like Xiaomi, Vivo, and OnePlus, companies have shifted to more of customer-oriented approach by providing amazing smartphones at affordable prices.

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan may be a OnePlus ambassador, but he’s a Samsung Galaxy user from long. When his Samsung S9 began to show some problems that he didn’t have any idea about, he posted on Twitter begging for help. As expected, Twitterati were ready to help him but with some really hilarious responses.

Amitabh tweeted “HELP !! Samsung S9 not functioning .. Samsung logo is on front screen, and is blinking again and again .. nothing else happens .. changed it .. let it be .. tried to close it does not close either ..
HELP … someone please guide me as to what I should de ..”

Then came his fans, who were happy to provide their input, however, whether helpful or otherwise.

Funny!! isn’t it?

#Christmas

Strange !

You are the brand ambassador of arguably the best software Android brand (@OnePlus_IN) and still you buy a Samsung phone even though its one of the worst UIs ? Strange !

Yes, even we thought that

Companies know that Twitter complaints are something that modern customers pay attention to before buying new smartphones. Xiaomi India VP Manu Kumar Jain tried taking advantage of the situation and offered BIG B to switch to Xiaomi.

Dear Amit Ji.

It's time to switch phones. You can maybe try the most loved technology brand in India ❤️????

Happy to send a flagship phone to you, if you want.#BigFan @SrBachchan https://t.co/O5DlcdxY3K

This isn’t the first incident when Manu Kumar Jain has offered free Xiaomi phones to people complaining about their smartphones. Previously, he has offered Xiaomi phone CommonFloor cofounder and Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma wh complaint about their iPhones.

Amitabh hasn’t replied to Xiaomi but it shows how smart modern brands have become to market their products. This is a great way of marketing as millions of people follow Mr. Bachchan and this has caught their attention.
