How ‘Stranger Things 4’ Successfully Created Buzz AcrossThe World

Online streaming platforms have become the main source of entertainment around the globe. Platforms like Netflix, Prime, and Hotstar, amongst many others, have gained huge success in the past few years.

Especially during the pandemic, these online streaming apps were widely subscribed to and witnessed a boom in their revenue. Now, there have been some of the most iconic projects have been launched on them. Netflix for one has become a true leader when it comes to content creation.

Narcos, Money Heist, Sacred Games, and others have become a global phenomenon. Irrespective of the language, these web series have garnered international recognition.

One show that has been a blockbuster not only in the west but in India as well as Stranger Things. The show was first released in 2016 and has since become one of the leading shows across all streaming platforms.

Stranger Things Season 4 just came through and we are so ready to binge-watch all the episodes. It is not just the storyline, however, a lot of effort has been put in by Netflix in terms of Marketing to ensure its success.

The ‘Upside-Down’ Unveiling Around The World

The makers came up with an interesting way to promote the show. 14 countries around the world witnessed the holographic ‘Upside Down’ rift open. This guerilla marketing covered 15 major landmarks across the 14 countries which included the Empire State Building in New York City, Bondi Beach in Australia, and The Gateway of India in Mumbai to name a few.

Part 1 of season 4 which has seven episodes is available on Netflix as of 27 May’22.  The second part of the season will roll out on the first of July’22.
