The Vodafone India and Idea Cellular deal has been finally approved and from the National Company Law Tribunal for the merger which has made “Vodafone Idea Ltd.” as India’s largest telecom service provider. There is no doubt that Jio’s entry made these two telecom giants to partner together as they were losing customers.
We all know that brands have become active on social media, especially on Twitter and Idea posted a tweet to celebrate the moment of association with Vodafone. Idea wrote: Hey, @VodafoneIN you know they’re all talking about us.

Even Vodafone replied to Idea’s tweet.
Yeah @Idea. It's time we made it official.😉🙂 https://t.co/CO5qmSypUc https://t.co/Rvpvn28qYb

This made customers congratulate both companies on the successful merger. However, Jio had a perfect reply to this.
Bringing people together since 2016. ❤️@VodafoneIN @Idea #WithLoveFromJio https://t.co/A7iDw6awvK

Jio with its smart move, once again proved why it is loved all across the country. The entry of Jio has certainly transformed the telecom industry in India and competitors have no other choice to improve their service at low costs as failing in doing so is already helping Jio to capture Indian market. Like this reply, Jio has always believed in bringing people together. One can also see the witty side of this as Jio’s growth has made these companies join hands. This is a perfect example of how brands can use moment marketing to get the attention of audience.
Even Airtel had something to talk about this famous merger but unlike Jio, it failed to grab much attention.
Congratulations you guys! Welcome to the top. We know what it feels like 😉 https://t.co/y0EZm0y0ON

We believe that Jio is the winner in this conversation between Indian telecom brands and the social media team of the company must gain some appreciation for this.
